Whether it’s a promotion, a partnership, or a new way of doing business, we make every effort to bring you better bookstore service and more effective promotional campaigns.
Here are just a few of our most recent initiatives.
Seeing is believing
An online video tour introduces new students to the
Hopkinsville Community College bookstore
In order to welcome first-year students onto the Hopkinsville campus and educate them about our offerings, we created an online video that gave them a virtual tour of our bookstore. We pointed out important store features, introduced them to our staff, and gave answers to the most commonly asked questions: how to purchase books with financial aid, how to read the shelf tags, and how our return policies and buyback programs worked. It was a great way to introduce our bookstore to the newest members of the campus community.

Customized travel mugs keep the St. Louis University bookstore
website on top of faculty desks—and at the front of their minds
To increase online textbook orders at St. Louis University, we gave faculty members and departmental assistants customized travel mugs that featured the bookstore’s web address as well as our telephone number. A colorful brochure explained the online ordering process. Now, every time a faculty member uses his or her mug, it serves as a reminder of our bookstore and our services.

At the Borough of Manhattan Community College, recruitment specialists work hard to attract prospective students. In order to give them a hand, we decided to coordinate a tour of our bookstore with their regular campus tours. This gave us a chance to introduce our services to students, parents, and guidance counselors alike—and help the college set itself apart.
